With over 20 years of experience, most recently at Hacker Architects from 2011-2025, Scott has now branched out as an independent architect. Scott's last project with Hacker was leading the collaborative design for the forthcoming High Desert Museum Expansion in Bend, Oregon. Stemming from the original Museum design in the 80’s and 90’s by the dedicated team in the office of renown PNW regionalist architect Thomas Hacker, the expansion creates new opportunities for visitor engagement including art, events, special gatherings, education, and community participation. Look for images of this exciting project soon!
Scott’s design leadership has contributed to several of Hacker’s award-winning projects, including Ledding Library and mass-timber office building: District Office, Ellen Browning Cohousing/Aging -in-place residneces, and the new Lodge, Restaurant, Event Hall and Pool House at Black Butte Ranch.
